What's new

1.0.0 — October 2026

The first release.

• Caches, with proof for each one: why it can move, when it was last used, and where it is.
• App leftovers. They start unselected.
• Duplicates. Savings are described as “up to”, because one copy stays.
• Large files. Nothing is selected until you choose it.
• Space Map.
• An uninstaller for apps that are still installed.
• Recently Cleared, with Put Back. What moves goes to the Trash. Gigapurge does not empty the Trash.
• A one-time license for up to 3 Macs. Scanning, review, Space Map, and Put Back stay free.
• Signed updates. The app checks gigapurge.com, and you choose when to install.
